Who we are
The Maria Valtorta Heritage Foundation is a non-profit organisation, established in 2010 to safeguard and enhance the spiritual, cultural, and literary legacy of Maria Valtorta. The Foundation owns her original manuscripts, copyright, and the house-museum in Viareggio, where the author lived and received her extraordinary visions.
The Board of Directors is composed of volunteers dedicated to advancing the Valtortian mission, alongside lay and religious collaborators in Italy and abroad.

The Board of Directors is composed of volunteers dedicated to carrying forward the Valtortian mission, alongside lay and religious collaborators in Italy and abroad. The mission of the Foundation is to evangelise through the dissemination of the work of Maria Valtorta, with particular attention to the mystical narration of the life of Jesus Christ, as received by her in vision.
The main activities include:
- the publication and translation of Valtortian works into various languages;
- the preservation and digitisation of manuscripts;
- the management of the house-museum;
- the promotion of the beatification cause of Maria Valtorta;
- the organisation of cultural events, conferences, and spiritual deepening meetings.
